Bluff View Art District saw Chattanooga\u2019s wealthiest and most influential families put down roots and raise their children at the turn of the eighteenth century. Anchored and built around the Hunter Art Museum, the area has blossomed into a booming hotspot known for its cafe, bakery, pasta shop, gallery, inn, and more. Did you know that Bluff View has its own herb and vegetable garden? Located in prominent view at the corner of 4th Street and Georgia Avenue, the Bluff View Herb Garden has been a landmark in Downtown Chattanooga since 1998. Dr. Portera began working the garden to help supply fresh herbs, seasonal vegetables, and year-round flowers to the restaurants on site, as well as for the pleasure of guests lodging in the Bluff View Inn.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Bluff View Inn is home to three turn-of-the-century homes overlooking the Tennessee River.
